Chaise Lounge on Main

Chaise - located on Main Street near Queen Elizabeth Park and Nat Bailey's Stadium - is a chic little neighbourhood lounge tucked away between local clothing boutiques, cafés and antique shops. With nothing better to do on this fine Thursday mid-morning, we stopped by for Brunch and left thoroughly impressed. The place is not at all shabby and is beautifully decorated in rich dark woods with cozy and intimate plushy seating areas here and there. The unique lighting and art work dispersed throughout the lounge doubles up as eclectic decor that can be bought and sold, just make a note of the seller's contact info and call to pick up your new lamp or unique sculptures.
Leiz - Picking from their "Eggs and Things", I ordered a hefty-sized portion Breakfast Wrap. Scrambled egg, cheddar cheese & salsa wrapped and lightly grilled. Served with a side of pan-fried potatoes and fresh fruits. Deliciously filling.
Jean-François - Curiousity at hand, I just had to choose the Breakfast Hash. Two eggs any style, crispy pan-fried potatoes, corn-beef and a side of fresh fruit. Portion wise, the folks here at Chaise go above and beyond. I'm a big eater, but even this meal was larger than I could handle (very proud of myself though for having finished it).
Come hungry because the portions are huge. A definite Must EAT Here!
